Switch Dehydrator Missing

Hello!

One save file has access to the mushroom cave and the dehydrator, but the other account save file doesn't have the dehydrator in the cave OR the recipe to create it. Any thoughts on how I can fix that?

Do you have the mushroom or the bat cave on the other file? Did you start the file after the 1.6 update or before?

So the file missing the dehydrator was started before 1.6 and the recipe doesn’t show up at Pierres unfortunately. Both of the files have the mushroom cave.

If you got the mushroom cave before 1.6, it’s normal that it hasn’t got a dehydrator.
It should show up at Pierre’s regardless of which cave you pick and how old the file is.

can you provide screenshots of your crafting menu and the menu at Pierre’s?

can you buy the fish smoker from Willy? that should work according to the same rules.
