Dating and marriage

I’m dating all of the NPCs except Sam (to whom I just gave a wilted bouquet.) I don’t want to lose 5 hearts with everyone. Will getting married to one of the NPCs erase the bouquets I’ve given or will I still be dating everyone else after the wedding?

I know this isn't what you asked, but if I were you I would start dating sam again and then walk into Haleys house or the saloon with a rabbit foot. it will give you a secret, but if you go in without a rabbit foot it will make them all lose five hearts.

I think their status goes back to single, but you keep the 10 hearts open.

once you get married with any NPC, the rest of NPCs you dated (either boyfriend or girlfriend) go back the state of single

but the bouquet marks still display on their profile photos
this is the evidence that you guys fell in love

that means you can marry any NPC and keep giving bouquet to those who is single

but he or she won't be your lover
nevertheless, you can still unlock the limitation of 8 hearts for single NPCs

don't be stressful, just keep cultivating relationships with single NPCs, there will be no moral issues

Do note that after you get married, your spouse has a chance to be jealous when you give gifts to NPCs who you have previously given a bouquet to. This results in your spouse losing some friendship.

In singleplayer mode, Marriage is possible only with a villager who is marked as "single" in the Social tab.
