Daredevil Skill Changes

Previously, during my game in August, the daredevil skill allowed you to kill with a critical hit, but now it just does a lot of damage? When did this change happen?

The daredevil skill isn't in the vanilla game, unless you meant desperado, in which case you were probably just hitting weak enemies or had a stronger weapon for critting, as it's been unchanged for years.

The fact is that I calmly killed snakes with a critical blow from the first hit. It didn't matter if they were weak or strong, but I used the infinity sword both then and now. And I have proof of my correctness in the form of old screenshots with a description of the skill, where it was indicated that a critical hit was killed.
