Crystal cave on Ginger Isle

Is there a secret to getting there? I can see the entrance but can't figure out how to get there. Does it involve going through the dark area south of it?

Are you sure you're in the right place? Once you find the entrance you can just enter...

If you go north east from the hut, there is a "hidden" path that leads up to where the parrot express is on the island farm. Cross the bridge to the west of that, and after crossing the bridge immediately turn north. If you've hit tiger slimes and mahogany trees, you've gone too far west.
