Hi there!
I play on Windows 10, Single Player World, Meadow Map, and registered several times that crop went missing although correct scarecrow placement and no weeds around them. I'm sure I planted crops, as they had already at least halway or fully fully grown and as such were clearly visible. No wilted remains, so definetly no lighning strike, apart from no storm the night(s) before. I assumed since a racoon was introduced in 1.6 that maybe it's part of the game for it to steal some of the crops, but by now I found several other players asking about this phenomenon and no answer so far, so I decided to post it here. So far in every season at least one crop went missing (i.e. my single fairy rose surrounded by bee hives). Can't remember something similiar ever happen before 1.6 (although I haven't played sinve Ginger Island was introduced).
