My suggestion is to create small dog breed options.
Main suggestions:
- Papillon, a mostly white dog with black ears and a couple black spots on the body. Long-furred ears and tail.
- Westie, a pure white schnauzer-like dog but itty bitty.
- Shi Tzu, light brown with a scruffy coat and chunky ears.
- Dachshund, you're average wiener dog. Black with brown eyebrow spots and maybe a second option where it's brown with lighter brown eye spots (for "red" dachshunds)
- Chihuahua, black with brown eyespots OR the most common coat, a light brown/deep beige
Incorporating small dogs could greatly improve attachment to pets since some players may more greatly bond with small dogs, like me, who has only ever had small dogs in my life. I can't really attach myself to a cat or a large dog, I only want a little guy. A white dog with a few black spots to resemble my old papillon dog, who was murdered by a vet, I'd be so happy. Plus the other ideas I thought would be great. I absolutely love seeing look-alikes of him in games.
