Issue Crashing, but can't find the missing/corrupted file!

The problem: My computer glitches out occasionally and I lose control over the mouse and it just randomly moves and rapidly clicks. During one such glitch episode, I wasn't able to get my mouse to a safe place on the screen before it got real bad. A bunch of clicks later, I'm pretty sure some of my files were moved or deleted because now the game won't even load. I already tried looking in the recycle bin as well as "Date Modified" and targeted searches using the info from the log parser to try to find the fil(s) but I'm stuck.

Any suggestions before I give up and just delete everything? PLEASE

Those missing files can be fixed through Steam by verifying your game files: https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/0C48-FCBD-DA71-93EB

As for the mouse issues; that's pretty odd. Could be anything from an old broken mouse, to a possible software/driver issue; to even malware.
At the very least; I'd make sure you have an active, up to date anti-virus on your system. Just to be safe.
