Explain the issue(s):
Prior to the 1.6 update anytime we would play local split screen (3 players total) it would lead to multiple crashes in the skull cave and the day restarts. We typically see this pattern if too many people are using explosive ammo/bombs/opening chests at the same time. The issue seems to occur more the further we go down in the mines.
After the 1.6 update the skull cave crashes are worse in that now it can happen just from killing mobs, mining rocks normally, or if 1-2 members of our 3 player team are outside of the mines doing anything basically. In summary, the crashes seem much worse now in that it isn't just being caused by us 3 playing inside the mine, but just general constant crashing if anyone goes into the skull cave. We typically start to see the issues past level 50 in the skull cave but there have been instances where just being in the lower levels also causes a crash to occur.
After the 1.6 update, and I think I've seen this post pretty often, the volcano dungeon is inaccessible now and just repeats the opening layout over and over until level 5 where the lava turns to blue water(?) and then we can't progress. There are no mobs/vendors/etc in the volcano as is.
Fireworks when used by anyone immediately crash our game.
Opening chests later in the day, after 6 pm, seem to crash the game if too many people are outside of the pause menu.
Full error text if any:
There is no error text that pops up, the audio freezes and plays the same tone on repeat and then the game crashes.
What OS you are using:
We play on an updated Xbox Series X.
In-game language:
English.
Single-player or multiplayer:
We always play 3 player split screen.
If you're using controller or keyboard/mouse:
We play with controllers.
Your version number:
1.6.9 build 37
Anything else you think might be relevant:
It seems the crashes are related to the number of things that are being generated on screen. For example, just an hour ago we had a crash just from someone opening a chest, 1 person was sleeping, and the other was just walking around. This was after 6 pm during a day where we generated a lot of crops, and it seems like that amount of material being generated during a day might lead to the crashes.
I couldn't find any info on how to upload our Xbox save file.
