We are both able to load the game. Just getting back into stardew after a year's hiatus. I updated both all of our mods and added some new ones in for fun. Game loads for my husband, and he can create a multiplayer server and waits for me to join via code. I can input code and select his farm.. but then game crashes and i see the attached code.
Unsure where I went wrong. Both our games are up to date, with latest versions of smapi, no corrupted game data per the steam properties search.

FileNotFoundException: Could not find file 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\Content\Maps\Custom_DeepCave.xnb'.
I'm not entirely sure, but this could be a Stardew Valley Expanded map, so you might want to try redownloading it.
