Cooking Mechanic

imma newb so here it is..

Is it possible for the Cooking Mechanic to be..

Like the one in Harvest Moon mineral town. Where the player has to guess the ingredients and the quality of the dish is determined by the amount of ingredients and tools used . Of course adding a wrong/incompatible items would just result to failure.

Also, there should be a cooking skill where the amount of ingredients that can be used is determined by the skill level.

And more cooking tools ordered or crafted?

And If possible a Cooking contest event to apply this mechanic? Where a player would bring the dish to the event or cook it there?

I like the idea of guessing ingredients (but still have the standard recipes) If it had cooking levels, higher levels could mean being able to use more ingredients.

Have it so the stove upgrades much like the tool. I would say make it so clint or maybe robin upgrades them.

Just an fyi this idea has been passed around a bit in the forums recently. Not exactly the same, just similar.

yes like for example salad..
utensils: knife
ingredients: one of any vegetable
*adding more vegetables just makes the quality higher (and some seasoning seasoning??)

I like the upgrading the stove idea. I like the utensil idea too. I have always wanted more from the stove and the cooking element of the game. I don't know if this has been changed or if there's a mod out for this yet, but I have never liked the fact that there was no actual production time of the food, just put the ingredients in your inventory, click on the recipe and "poof" you have cooked your food. That's not cooking. There should be a timer just like with other machines in the game (i.e. it takes time to produce mayonnaise, cheese, juice). Different foods should be connected to the appropriate machines too. Like grilled fish should be cooked on a grill and fruit salad isn't cooked so it should be connected to a counter not the stove of course.

utensils sound a little odd

this idea sounds like the function in Zelda breath of the wild

the more durian you put in the pot
the more powerful cuisine you get Finally
it changes according to your ingredients

but normally Link eats his food directly without a fork or chopsticks

basically cooking will not be upgraded
this part of game is unpolished but it is enough
it could be funnier
but we don't know if there exists 1.7 or not
