Conspiracy Theory: Shane's Blue Chickens

I had this crazy conspiracy theory pop into my head as I was playing Stardew tonight. I got the *SPOILER 1* commercial cut scene where it ends with *SPOILER 2*. Then, a short while later, I saw Shane's 8 heart event cut scene where we get access to the blue chickens. And then hit me: Did Shane give a batch of Marnie's chickens *SPOILER 3* to turn them blue???

I used to think the Witch or Wizard might have something to do with it but it didn't really make too much sense and it was just something that popped in my head at the time. This makes so much more sense though, compared to my theory. Looks like Shane has a lot of explaining to do..

Nobody noticed why water in game mostly is blue? Joja cola spilled everywhere, and those blue chickens drink water.
