I think there should be a way to port stardew valley to PC if you already have it on your console. One way i could think of it happening is you download a different version of stardew valley and it asks for some sort of code that you can activate on the console and then enter it and when you do so your console stardew valley gets disabled until you enable it back on the console you own it on
(You can still use the console to play stardew if you are playing co-op on the PC, but only co-op). This way you can download mods if you have a PC but have stardew valley only on console.
Also you have to activate the code on the console so that some random person just doesn't activate your code.
(BTW sorry for not so good english I'm Finnish)
