Greetings,

So I've had Stardew Valley since it came out, and I've been playing it on and off ever since. It has easily come down as one of my favorite games of all time. I absolutely love and adore pretty much everything in this game. It's my go-to game when I'm feeling angry, depressed, or unproductive, and gets rid of any worries I might have in my life. Going back to those 2012-2015 YouTube videos Eric made of Stardew Valley's development progress always stuns me because of how far the game has come. It's really inspiring what one person can do with just a simple amount of coding knowledge and an amazing amount of perseverance. Just the fact that Eric made the game from complete scratch and taught himself how to code as he was making it is more than enough to appreciate Stardew Valley, it's beautiful charm, and it's maker. I thank you, Eric Barone, for not only making so many people happy, but for substantially fueling my pre-existing desire to become an Indie developer.

Anyways, being a left handed gamer, I have always struggled to find the right control scheme that's comfortable in every PC game I've played, which brings me to my suggestion. I'd love to see the inventory-related hotkeys become configurable. Since I use the arrow keys to move around, and the NUMPAD 0 key to open and close my inventory, it can be pretty difficult and very uncomfortable to use the unconfigurable keys like "L-Shift" an "Y". I never even heard about these inventory keys until recently when I was snooping around the Stardew Valley Wiki, looking for any things I didn't already know.

I'm not sure if I'm just missing something, or if there's some sort of config file within the Stardew Valley files that I'm not seeing. If there is, please let me know. Otherwise, I'd really like to see these additional control options get added.

Again, thanks Eric, as well as the amazing and dedicated community, for putting countless smiles on my face, whether I see awesome and wholesome fan-art, get a rare drop from something in the game, or just simply see the game get mentioned from somewhere.
