Solved Completed Special Order without putting into Pierre's Prime Produce box

In trying to complete the Special Order of harvesting and putting 25 gold star items into the Prime Produce box in Pierre's store, it completed the quest and gave me the reward when I harvested the last of the crops, but hadn't yet given them to Pierre.

Did you put any produce in earlier?

Yes, I had put some in already. But interestingly, I couldn't remember exactly which items I had harvested after accepting the quest. So I tried to put in 25 various gold items. It still showed me something like 21/25 harvested and put into the box, so 4 of what I had put in had been previously harvested. I don't know if that makes a difference....

That's fine, you can deliver stuff you harvested earlier, it will count towards the delivery part, just not towards the gathering/harvesting part.
