Issue Compatibility

My launcher stopped working after the 1.6 version came out and my games only been functioning on compatibility since. Is there any way to use mods with compatibility mode or a way to fix the normal version so I can install mods again. I have a somewhat new Lenovo laptop, but mods have always worked super smoothly in every game, so it's not a storage issue.

How can you know if you don't try? That's like saying you won't ask a restaurant to give you the food they forgot to give you from your order because you're afraid they just won't listen. They want your business, but they can't help you if you don't ask.
