Compatibility?

Hi, posting for a friend. They have a new laptop with a snapdragon 8cx gen 3 processor and qualcomm adreno 8cx gen 3 (I think this is their graphics)? When they try to open the game, it says running but will not pop up. It shows in their task manager before suspending. We have tried:

- Restarting steam
- Reinstalling steam
- Reinstalling Stardew
- Verifying the game files
- Clearing Steam's cache
- Running in compatibility mode
- Restarting the laptop

Not sure what else to try!

I'm not an expert but maybe check all the drivers are up to date? Also possibly see if the game has the right permissions to run and isn't being blocked by any antivirus programs?

Try confirming the integrity of the files in Steam?

Can you try running the 1.5.6 beta? I'm wondering if it's a 1.6 issue
