Switch Co-op skull cavern bomb issue

Once entering the skull cavern we tried to use bombs to find ladders but everytime we try and place one it gives us a software error and closes the application. To note this is a recent problem since the last update has come out.

Were you using mega bombs or the other ones? I and my cousin experienced this earlier but only with mega bombs as we were trying to clear out some trees on our farm.

No, we were only using the cherry bombs and regular bombs, but nothing was working for us.

It happens for me with literally any sort of explosion (cherry bomb, bomb, mega bomb and napalm ring).

Having same issue with even enemies that explode and any sort of explosion causes the game to crash
