My wife and I play a co-op splitscreen farm and have noticed a few areas where things could be improved. These are based on the assumption that player 1 and player 2 are married to each other and not any villagers. Maybe this could even be a toggle in the settings if you don't want the "enhanced marriage options", and it should be doable as the Ginger Island farmhouse treats the players this way by default for most of these.
When married, the game should treat the farmhouse as the main house for player 2 and not their cabin anymore. So for example:
-Player 2's mail should be available at the farmhouse and not the cabin, since the cabin got moved out of the way, I am not there regularly to check the mailbox and as such end up having an unnecessary amount of piled up mail.
-When player 2 passes out they should end up waking up in the bed they slept in last on the farm, not always the cabin by default. Even when passing out in the farmhouse, player 2 gets warped to their cabin in the morning.
-The return scepter should warp to the farmhouse and not the cabin. What good is it if I still have to either run from the other side of the farm to the house or use a farm totem?
-Pets like to migrate and spend the night in the cabin alone and not in the farmhouse, so they should want to be where the people are.
