Hi I’ve been introducing my girlfriend into stardew valley recently and it’s gone rly well we started our first play through and got all the way up to year 2 summer every now and then the game would kick one or both of us out at the end of the day when we slept it wasn’t a big problem we sometimes just had to re play the day and it wasn’t a massive deal however one time it did it and I couldn’t open the save file under a co op game we got pretty worried that the save file was lost but I eventually realised it was in my load saves as a new game i found out that if I just saved the game that I would be able to continue playing on co op which was annoying but we were just happy we hadn’t lost everything anyway about a week later it does it again so I do what I did last time however after playing for a day or two we noticed that the museum and community centre had lost all its progress and we couldn’t interact with the plaque we looked over the internet but decided to give up as we were on console and couldn’t open up old save files we took it on the chin and I turned my first play through into a co op game so we could play together luckily it was about the same place we had got to around year 2 summer so we’ve been playing for a week or two got to the last day desert carnival and it happens again I was so annoyed as now I have two year year two save files that I can’t even play properly now we haven’t been using mods or anything but don’t know how to fix it or if there’s a patch coming out any information on this problem would be great and is it happening to lost of others ?
