Creator Response Clarification: "Pet Loves You" card

I have a question about the "Pet Loves You" card. If the cat brings you a legendary fish, then does that count as *catching* a legendary fish and thus complete the legendary fish goal?

Yes it does! Any way that you gain a Legendary Fish counts towards that goal.
