Hi yall, a big Stardew Valley fan, have been playing and loving the game since 2018 and I personally love Shane's storyline. I think it is touching and hits hard in many aspects, but one thing always stops me from marrying him. Although throughout his storyline you see him struggling with addiction and depression, I find the fact that his behavior of going to the bar every day after work and loving beer and just acting the exact same after you do his story and marry him feels like a regression. I like his rough personnality and dont even mind if marrying him means having a dumpster in my house, be messy king, but I wish the aspects relating to his alcoholism and self destructive behavior changed a bit.
