Yes unfortunately corners were cut for mobile. It was never meant to be a mobile game. They tried it and it’s been a buggy ride ever since. It’s still playable and mostly enjoyable, most major parts (save coop) are still available, but you get used to and even have fun with the experiences we have that others don’t. Like villagers still walk through walls, on water, get stuck in hilarious places and my favorite is that they still get stranded in ginger island overnight, especially if you closed the screen and it paused mid game.
. But in seriousness he is a perfectionist and the bugs really bother him and it’s why he has firmly stated that his next game Haunted Chocolatier won’t be coming out to the mobile platform.
