This problem is niche, and it only affects me because I'm currently doing the mines 50 speedrun.
If you leave the game (back to title) while there is a cave flies swarm active, the ambient noise does not go away. It persists in the menu, and in new games. The current way I deal with it is simply rebooting the game, that gets rid of it.
I'm on Windows 11 Home, stardew v1.5.6 hotfix #3
pc specs:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10510U CPU @ 1.80GHz 2.30 GHz
16 gigs ram
64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Nvidia GeForce MX110
