Switch Can't Upgrade to Switch 2 Edition

I hear people upgrading to the Switch 2 Edition of the game but I am somehow stuck on the Switch 1 version. (Yes I am playing on a Switch 2). Is it because I live in germany? How can I upgrade or when will it release in Germany?
