Solved Cant regain energy from laying in bed

Language is English, game version 1.5.4, doing tasks in the game and when I need some energy I try to go lay in the bed but my energy does not come back was this removed or is it a bug.

You need to sleep, not just be in bed, and if you sleep without another player in the game it'll continue to the next day when you sleep. In a multiplayer game, though, because you have to wait for the other player before a day can end, you are able to sleep and then wake up and continue your day with more energy.
