Can't find the dwarf scrolls this playthrough

I've found the first one, but I haven't been able to find the others. I got all the way to the bottom, I have the Community Center completed, the bus is unlocked. I'm working on Willy's boat right now. For some reason, I'm having a difficult time with finding the scrolls this playthrough.

(I'm on Nintendo Switch, if that matters). I'll kill the enemy's, I'll tilt the soil, I'll break the crates and barrels, but haven't had any luck. I've found like 5 of the Dwarf Scroll 1, but have been unable to find the rest. I'll go on good luck/great luck days, but I still haven't been able to find them. I normally don't have this much trouble with the scrolls, usually one I might be missing for a while. But I'm missing three this time around.

Option 1: get moar geodes and keep cracking them open.
Option 2: bring the hoe to the mines, and hoe any tillable ground. You’ll get a bunch of clay and cave carrots, too. But you can also get certain artifacts, including dwarf scrolls. When hoe’ing, i think depth matters. Certain scrolls i think can only be hoe’d in certain ranges. The wiki should say for sure.

They're rather uncommon, especially IV (though it has the widest range of things it can drop from)

Just keep on whacking monsters and tilling clay to be honest, there isn't a lot you can do besides that. I would recommend trying bombing some of the large clay floors in the mines on specific levels that give the scrolls you want (fastest way to trigger as many chances as possible to get them), or elevator reset floors, ideally infested ones.

Burglar ring and monster musk will help too.

Have been getting as many geode's as possible and cracking them open. I also bring my hoe with me to tilt the soil.

Have been tilting the soil (no luck so far). I do have some bombs, I need to start using them, that might help.

Hm. I mean, sometimes the RNG gods smile upon you, and sometimes they point and laugh. It sounds like you’re doing everything right. I suppose there’s Artifact Troves from the Prize Machine, but mining and hoe/bombs really are the best option. Has to be frustrating, but it’s sorta like how sometimes you’re in Summer Year 2 before your first Ancient Seed makes an appearance.

I fully agree. On my first farm, I had to farm for the skeletal hands for two years, after having found the other minerals and artifacts before I finally got it. On the other hand, on my current farm, I found my first ancient seed in Spring 6 and a dinosaur egg a few days after...

The RNG gods have their own ways...
