Issue Can't Donate to Museum

I'm having an interesting issue with my new playthrough. I have several items to donate, but when I enter the museum I can't talk to Gunther to donate anything. I walk up to the counter and click around, but nothing happens.

If anyone has any insight into what might be wrong, it would be appreciated.

I figured it out for anyone else who might have the same issue. You need to stand on the top left corner of the rug and click the counter rather than stand directly in front of Gunther.
