Windows Can't access krobus shop on friday when game is in Japanese

I'm currently in fall the first year and unlocked the sewers.
I wanted to buy the iridium sprinklers from krobus on friday on all other days I can open his shop and buy stuff but on friday nothing happens.

I do get the little talk icon but it just makes a sound and nothing happens no textbox or shop.
I can gift him but no response from him but it will show in the social tab as being gifted

OS: Windows 10 LTSC 21H2
Language: Japanese
Single player
KB&Mouse
Version: 1.6.13 build 24313 from GOG using GOG galaxy

I'm having the same issue, made an account because I think I've figured out the problem. I'm also playing in Japanese and found that I just cannot interact with him at all on Friday, when I seen this post I decided to try testing to see if I can if I switched to English and yup it worked fine. I suspect due to his unique text on Friday for his silence something in the Japanese localisation has bugged out in a recent patch.

When I talk to Krobus on Friday, the game only plays the sound effect used when the dialogue window closes and does not show the shopping interface or the dialogue window.

I changed the game language to English and the problem did not occur.

On version 1.5.6 (Switch, Japanese), the first time I talked to him on Friday, the dialogue window opened for a second and closed immediately; from the second time on, the shopping interface opened correctly.
