iOS Cannot retrieve item from lost and found

Cannot retrieve item from lost and found. Item doesn’t transfer to the bag.

My hoe fell into the lost box, and I click to retrieve but it does not go into inventory, it's right back in the box. I can't get it out of the box. (This is also related to a different issue where things in inventory keep getting missing if you're holding them and you get some other item, the thing you are holding disappears. If it is a tool it will pop up in the lost and found. However for the hoe I cannot get it out.)

Yeah same here. Playing on ipad then suddenly lost my scythe but can't take it out of the Mayor's lost and found box.

I am having the same issue as well. My scythe is in the lost and found box but it will not let me put it back into my inventory.
