Can you have more children after divorce?

I'm currently with Elliot, we are about to have our first child. I want to have 2 children with him for funzies, but then I want to divorce and go after another bachelor so I have something to do while growing my farm.

If I have 2 children, will I have to get rid of them before I can have more with another bachelor, or can I have 2 kids from Elliot and 2 kids with another bachelor, keeping all 4?

I supposed you will see specific kid writhing irregularly in your house from time to time due to performance issue. That looks creepy and tricky.
