Switch Can you copy save data on Switch?

I wanted to make another save file but using the same game save data from another save. I have a character and they were already married, but I wanted to marry another person (Sebastian) and I didn’t wanna restart the whole game to try and warm up to Seb again because I already have him at 10 hearts. Can I copy save data to make another save file on Nintendo Switch, so I can divorce and remarry?

Yes actually but it’s a bit convoluted and a glitch. All you do is go to start a new farm and select a seed but don’t start the farm instead quit to title and load the save you wanna copy and go to bed and then your save will be copied.

I used it to have a community-center-version and a joja-mart-version of my save-game.

Hey I have the same question as fox_does_gaming Im wanting to copy/dupe a stardew valley save file on my Nintendo switch. I tried the method SamTheSkeleton recommended but it did not work. I know there’s been updates since then but I really want to copy my save file on my Nintendo switch. Is there a way to copy save for 1.5.4.2?
