I don’t know if I missed it in the instructions but is there any way I am able to get more than just the starting tool? I’ve tried looking but cannot find it anywhere.
The starting tool can be upgraded as an end-of-turn effect (this requires an Ore or, in the Fishing Rod's case, money).I don’t know if I missed it in the instructions but is there any way I am able to get more than just the starting tool? I’ve tried looking but cannot find it anywhere.
Oh okay but how does that work if you are playing as a single player in the board game? Doesn’t that mean you can’t (for example you have a fishing rod) mine, water plants, or till the garden? The starting tool can be upgraded as an end-of-turn effect (this requires an Ore or, in the Fishing Rod's case, money).
You cannot wield more than one tool (e.g. your farmer cannot have both the Hoe and the Watering Can), though some of the 'classic' tools ended up being profession upgrades (Axe, Scythe, some weapons) or items (Milk Pail)
The oopsest of oopsesEdit: I didn't see this was in the Board game section, never mind!
For single player, I believe that you would be able to have all of the tools. At least, that’s how I’ve been playing.Oh okay but how does that work if you are playing as a single player in the board game? It is not necessary to have the tool in order to perform an action - meaning you can actually fish without a fishing rod. The tool does not do anything unless you upgrade it, and then you will gain benefits - watering multiple tiles or re-rolling dice while fishing.Oh okay but how does that work if you are playing as a single player in the board game? You can still perform any action on the board, you just cannot get upgrades for other tools. Think that you'd have all of the basic tools, but you can only upgrade the chosen one.Oh okay but how does that work if you are playing as a single player in the board game?
