Can I connect to my friend who’s on steam, from an xbox series x?

Is this possible? Is there some way to get a discount if I already bought it once and have to buy it again? Can I load a save from game to game and will it save my progress on both devices?

Unfortunately not ): there's no crossplay support right now, there's no discount for owning the game on multiple devices, and you can't move your saves from PC to console. Sorry for the inconvenience!
