Can I change my horse's name on my switch? Or access my save file online to do so?

hey guys first time on here! so it took me like a week to harvest 100 hardwood for the stable. i just really wanted a horsey!! when i got him i put him his stable behind my house but i then realized it was hard for him to leave so i was trying to move the stable but instead i confirmed his name as Grover. i really wanted to name him Iroh (my farm kitty is named Zuko haha)! most of the answers on reddit were related to the online forum and not the switch. i should have just reset the day! but i went to sleep and the last save is the morning after i named him. If anyone could help me pls.

Unfortunately the game doesn't not allow you to change the name of your horse. This is technically possible on PC or mobile via save editing, but that isn't possible on console.

Well, if you revert to your former save and hop on your horse anew, you should be given the option to name him all over again too... or are you saying that the day you would revert to is the day after you named him?
