Can I Change My Choice from Treasure Hunter to Luremaster?

I just discovered how to check my choice and though I always intended to choose lure master and not treasure hunter, it states that the fishing skill I chose at level 10 is Treasure Hunter, not lure master.

Is it possible to change it? I really don't want to start out all over again but I suspect that is what I have to do. I am unable to bait crab pots. I have read on several websites that you right click on the trap once it is in the water to bait it. But when I do this nothing happens. I get no opting to add bait.

So I will never be able to complete the Community Center without the items I can only obtain from crab pots.

Thanks for your help!

Do you have bait as a current item when you try to bait a pot? And you don't need crab pots to complete the crab pot bundle: you need five items. Four can be foraged from the beach, one can be achieved as monster loot from rock (and lava) crabs.
As for changing the choice: there is a statue in the sewers... (never used it, though)

You should be able to bait crab pots regardless of what your profession is. Have bait as your current selected item (so that your character is holding bait over their head). Then right-click on the crab pot. There's a sort of thunking sound that indicates that you put bait in (it sounds like you're expecting a menu of some sort, but there isn't any menu). Wait till the next day, and you should see an icon above the crab pot that indicates that something is in it.

That being said, if you want to change the profession eventually, once you donate 60 items to the museum you'll be able to open the sewer, and there you can pay 10,000g to a statue to change your profession.
