Switch Calico desert glitch

I need help. When I tried to travel to the calico desert festival by bus, I could get through due to Sebastian, Kent and Haley stopping me. I can’t push pasted Kent or Haley. I got back on the bus three times, even waited a bit to get back on but they’re still there. I’m not sure what to do.
