Windows "c" key is constantly pressed even outside of the game

• explain the issue (including any pattern you noticed about when it happens): Sometimes, "c" key is constantly pressed in-game as well as outside of the game. I can close the game and press a textbox (such as a search bar) and "c" would appear repeatedly as if someone is pressing it down. The only way to make it stop is by restarting the computer. I know it's not a hardware problem because I've unplugged the keyboard and it still happens.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the game. If you have Steam Cloud Saves enabled you won't lose any progress as it'll sync those after the reinstall, assuming they're even deleted when you uninstall which they may not be.
