Bunnies (adults) won’t take animal crackers?

I’m on mobile, Ive gotten all my other adult animals ( even my fish!) take animal crackers but the bunnies who are adults now won’t eat them. Are bunnies not supposed to take crackers like pigs? I thought they could. Am I mistaken is it a bug? It’s been more than one crackers tried, more than one bunny was tried.

At you on Android or iOS? I just tried it on iOS and it worked for me.

Did you give any crackers to your bunnies before the last patch? Did you try to switch to controls with buttons?

IOS. I tried before and after. They say they’ve had them on by their names in my tabs, they just did t make the noise, not does it snow they had one when you double click on them like my ducks do. Who knows. It seems like they are having close to if not double production. I think they took, just showing weird. As long as the production effects took that’s all I cared about. Took for ever to find out which ones had it though. Thanks for the help!🙏

Neither my sheep nor my rabbit show it when I double tap them, I can’t really remember what it was like before the patch.
But they did make the noise (I play without sound, but they showed the bubble with the note).

Twelve bunnies on my last save successfully ate golden crackers, but I am on Switch so you may be experiencing something specific to iOS.

Yeah same here are you also iOS? It is hard to know which ones had it that way.

I find the animals, not just bunnies, don't show the cracker on double click, but it is present on their row on the animal status table. I consider this usable.
consider reporting it as a visual glitch, even if it's functional it's better to have issues like this that'll inevitably keep being asked to be sorted out

You can, but a guaranteed response is better than one others may have no intention of following through, they can always add additional information onto the post as well
I will leave it to them. The fact that I was able to replicate the experience doesn't mean I dislike the experience.

The animal tab works fine for me for tracking who got a cracker just as the villager tab works fine for me for tracking who got gifts this week.

My feeling is that the second-pet modal is already overloaded, and I would actually prefer not to have anything else in it. I actually kind of hate it because it's too easy to accidentally invoke the relocate and sell dialogs, but it's been like that since 1.4 at least, so it is what it is.

Which, gloves off, means that I'm not going to report it because I prefer the behavior as it stands.

I can’t replicate what I would perceive as a real bug, as reported by @stardew_luv (animals not taking the cracker, not displaying the note or making a sound).

I wanted to check on PC first if the golden cracker is displayed next to the animals name when interacting with them (I think it was, but my memory could be wrong). I was away for the holidays, but maybe I’ll get to it this weekend.

I think as long as it’s displayed next to the current information, it’s not gonna be a problem (although I also hit relocate or sell by mistake too often. There’s like a second loading time when you x out of the menu and I always already click on the next animal, then it opens again and I hit sell.)

Yes, it’s useable I’m not upset in as it makes me not want to play the game upset, just a bother or irritation. Every extra click is hard on my fingers. Just difficult but not upset or anything. Trust me not a dealbreaker. 😉

This I’ve done this selling by accident! Not fun especially when high hearts with the animal. 🫣 Kind of too easy to miss sell, even with the confirmation it pops up so quick my brain barely processes what I’m doing before I make the wrong choice. That’s a me thing though, I always like when programs ask twice “are you sure” but again I’m slow processing things and it does not affect the majority of users.

ETA: as for the crackers it’s really not a deal breaker I don’t want people to think it’s a huge deal I was just wondering if anyone else had trouble finding which animal has had a cracker on mobile. It’s just not as clear as PC as I’ve played both but am stuck with only mobile now with my post cancer arm issues.

Not just a you thing. I can't tell you the number of times I've renamed save files because I accidentally hit "yes" on the "go to sleep for the night" first thing in the morning because my character exited the bed stage left instead of stage right.

You don’t need to rename the save file on mobile, just open the options tab and hit “swap to previous save”.

I like it better. I know precisely which files I'm acting on, and that gives me comfort.
