Hi all! I am on fall year 2 in my 1.6.9.37 file. I noticed a few times in year 1 but didn't spend time testing until now.
When i complete a bulletin board help wanted task, the next day the new quest will either be the same quest from the same villager, or a different quest from the same villager. I have seen this with fetch quests, and have tested it with a fishing quest from Willy. When a quest is accepted but not completed, or not accepted, it seems to reset to a random pattern. I was able to get the same quest 4 times in a row (catching 3 salmon for Willy) and the only reason i couldn't replicate was due to not finishing in time. There was no quest on the next day. I was able to save and reset and it was the same quest as long as i completed it the day before. I am playing on single player and in English.
