I have 10 hearts with Krobus and have not married. I am the second player in a splitscreen game. The host has married and divorced someone. Despite all this, the desert trader is not selling the pendant.
Someone hearted this post, and it made me realise I never followed up on this. As it turns out, I hadn't gotten the second house upgrade. After buying that, I was able to get the pendant.
