PC BUG? Unable to trigger the Wizard store/Magic Book after completing Goblin Problem quest

OS X 10.15.7, Game version 1.5, English, NO mods, Single-Player, newbie - started playing maybe a month ago
I completed the community center and the Goblin Problem quest (and have access to Ginger Island). The Wizard's "store" was not triggered. When I enter the Wizard's Tower, the magic book is not visible. Unsure if I did not do something or if it's a bug.

To be fair, access to Ginger Island isn't a prerequisite for access to the book and the magic buildings.

So, after you get past the goblin and get into the witch's hut, did you pick up the ink? Did you give it to the Wizard?

Just to be noted: the "iOS" tag is wrong in the thread title because iOS is still on version 1.4 while Mac version is 1.5 (the same as PC). Unless a new "macOS" tag is added (and that would be unnecessary in my humble opinion), the "PC" tag is the right one to be used here.
