Hey folks,
I'm new here, so be gentle. I'm running into an issue where I cannot 'tell' Stardew Valley to use a different audio device other than the at the time system default. I'm aware of an attribute the game has where if I'm not mistaken due to WASPI it is only able to hook onto whatever audio device it was initialized with and you're unable to re-route the audio after the fact.
However, I use several programs to do custom audio routing to virtual audio devices. Mainly "Wave Link" by Elgato and "Ear-Trumpet" which is a UWP program from the Windows 10 App Store designed to make selecting audio devices for programs easier. I've configured everything to work 'correctly' based on my needs; the problem is though, despite 'telling' Stardew Valley to use a different audio device other than the system default BEFORE initializing it, it still ignores that. Looking for some advisement on this one. Thanks!
