Switch [BUG] Trouble placing furniture

Hey there fellow farmers! I’m having a problem rearranging my furniture. After I got the bigger house with a kids room my bedroom was teleported to the space north of the kitchen. I’m trying to put it back since it’s such a small area and I’d like to use it for a crafting room. I’m trying to put my bed back in the east side room and it won’t set down. I’ve removed everything from th room and it’s not in the way of my steps, nothing on the walls either. I appreciate any help, thanks!

Have you tried changing the controller type in the settings and trying again? (Note: I do not play on Switch, but know this has worked for people in the past when they were having difficulties.)
