PC [BUG] Stuck running into chicken coop

I entered the chicken coop and now I'm just stuck running in place while my chickens and ducks pretend not to notice. I've tried holding down the all directions, pressing random keys, minimizing/maximizing window and I'm still stuck! I know I should probably just close the game, but I'm at the end of a day and don't want to lose a rare item in my inventory. Any ideas?

Is the ingame clock still running? You could let the time run out and wake up in bed the next day with all your inventory. You'll lose 10% of your money though (max 1000g).

Sadly it does not seem to be running :(

First I'd check if there's something pressing down on a certain direction button. And if you didn't obtain the rare item that specific day, you won't lose it from exiting.

I tried checking to make sure sticky keys weren't on (read somewhere that could be an issue), but that didn't change anything. At first I thought maybe there was an egg in the doorway, but usually you can get past those by holding the forward key I think. It is an item I obtained on the day. I was entering the coop to incubate an ostrich egg.

I'm pretty sure you can only walk past eggs if a chicken's standing on or in front of it. Maybe check again if there's an egg?

Is there anything you can do? turning the farmer? going into inventory? using items?

The egg is not the end of the world, you can dig it up again after restarting (assuming you have the journal scrap with you after restarting. If not, you'll just have to find it again first).

It was basically just stuck and wouldn't let me do anything. I pressed keys, clicked buttons on the mouse and nothing. I finally decided to go ahead exit the game, so I did lose the egg. Hopefully I will dig up the journal scrap and get another one like you said, but it sucks to lose a whole days worth of progress. I think I'll live though, lol. Thanks for the suggestions!

Well...that's good to know, lol. Still haven't found another one yet though... :( But thanks for the tip! I feel a little better knowing I wouldn't have been able to incubate it in there anyway, haha.
