PC [BUG] start local co op 1.5

When i select "start local co op"
It appears "press start to start local co op" and that is fine.
I press start with the second controller and nothing happens, instead the sentence (press start...) disappears and i still remain playing alone

I have steam game with an xbox one and cbox x controller and a few mods (updated)

i have already played with my beorher with lan connwction on the same map
So i supposed that somehow the gact that local co op doesn't work is linked ro the fact that the character was linked to a specific account and pc game
Sobi built a second cabin (despite my brother could lose all his achievement)

However nothing happens also in this case

Apparently steam is the problem, if i start the game (both without or with mods) without startingit it via steam it works fine
