Not quite sure how to describe this. But I gave Pierre some sashimi, as he requested, and he gave me 1,000 g. On three mornings since then, I've woken up to my journal telling me he had paid me another 1,000 g. So far he has paid me 4,000 g for one piece of sashimi. This seems a little desperate on his part. 
Also, I've "leveled up" on a couple of skills, to the same level, more than one night in a row. You know...one night I would level up to Combat Level 8 and the next night I would level up to Combat Level 8 again. I guess this doesn't bother me - unless the game is also erasing my points and beginning again on the previous level. I have no idea if it is doing that.
