PC [BUG] Regular mine won't reset with shrine

No matter how many times and days we try to reset the mine (the regular mine in town) at the shrine, it says it will do it but it never does. It stays on the "hard" mode. Any suggestions?? We have tried this multiple times, different days (IRL and in-game)... Thanks in advance!

Our game also does not reset the mine difficulties (both the "regular" and the skull caverns) after we hit the harder difficulties. We're on co-op.
