Xbox [BUG] Random crashing

So lately the game has been crashing for me at random intervals that I see no pattern to, usually with the error message of "Do you own this game?" even though I bought it a couple years ago and am playing with the owning account and no other accounts signed in. Most of the time I can just open the game again and it will drop me back where I was as if I had just closed back to the home menu of the console without quitting, but occasionally it deletes a whole day of progress. I genuinely have no idea what is causing this to happen, but it really ruins the game when I'm just going about my business and suddenly I'm booted out for seemingly no reason.

Because you said that Xbox sent you a message such as "Do you own this game?" you need to show some piece of evidence.
I have never experienced this before. Unfortunately, it is going to take some time. Your problem might get fixed after your business.

If I were in your shoes, I would find a copy of my receipt and send an email to one of the Microsoft or Xbox technicians to prove to them that you own this game and you can complain to them that you kept getting a problem from the console.

Or you can chat or telephone one of the Microsoft or Xbox representatives if you want a quick fix...
