PC [Bug] Pirate's Wife's Quest (v1.5 spoiler!)

I'm playing the 1.5 version, single player, in german, and in the quest on Ginger Island where the woman asks you for a memento of her husband I noticed a bug.
When trying to give Willy the worm that the wizard gives you, he responds with the proper dialogue announcing that he will give an item to me, but when he's finished with talking, I still have the worm and Willy hasn't given me his item. I talked to him multiple times, but nothing changes and I can't get his item to complete the quest.

Does anyone else experience this, and is there any way to work around it?

Hey so I just checked into this and verified that this is a bug specific to the german version. We'll fix this in an upcoming patch. you can either wait for that (this quest isn't crucial for anything), or do the following:
change to english, load your game, finish the quest, then after you've saved that night, you can go back to german
