During the fishing game at the Stardew Valley fair, I stumbled across a bug where if you press Y at a specific time after reeling something in, the “HIT!” dialogue would appear despite not sending out my line again. From there, the reeling minigame would start (with no fishing rod visible), and when caught, shows the animation with no fish. Still counted towards score. I was able to replicate this twice and record it, so it is not a one-time thing.
